The Poás Volcano National Park is one of the national parks of Costa Rica that receives a high annual visitation. The geomorphosites theme has been Widely worked in European countries such as Spain, Romania and Greece. In America, there are very few jobs done, Mexico being one of the countries where it has worked recently. For Costa Rica it is a new theme, therefore, this This work is the first to propose and evaluate geomorphosites in the country. This work performs a detailed geomorphological evolution to know the processes that formed the current massif of the Poás volcano and the dynamics that this has in the present, which serves as input to identify geomorphological interest that are proposed as geomorphsites. Also, through the review bibliography lists those works, performances, studies and activities in the that the proposed geomorphsites have appeared or have a particular relevance. The evaluation carried out to determine the tourism potential of the geomorphsites compares scientific and cultural characteristics, as well as what has been seen in the field work for each geomorph site. It shows the importance of These as tourist attractions based on their characteristics to be promoted tourists. For this, an informative tourist guide is proposed where the geomorphsite with its characteristics so that the tourist understands how it was origin, dynamics, cultural importance and accesses that said geomorphsites. It is concluded that the Poás Volcano National Park has an important resource geomorphological that can be proposed as a geomorphological site. Its dynamics and activity make this national park very attractive given the existence of formations specifications of interest. In addition, this research allows to encourage others researchers to carry out various studies on geomorphosites in Costa Rica.
