Abstract

La resolución de la Sala Constitucional deja el camino abierto al segundo debate del proyecto de reforma fiscal, era uno de tantos caminos posibles, quizás el que menos creímos que podría suceder. Los escenarios económicos de este resultado le dan un respiro al país que lleva más de 20 años enfrascado en una lucha por corregir la forma como se redistribuye la carga fiscal y que llegó al límite de sus márgenes.

The resolution of the Constitutional Chamber leaves the way open to the second debate of the tax reform project, it was one of many possible paths, perhaps the one that we least believed could happen. The economic scenarios of this result give a break to the country that has been involved in a struggle for more than 20 years to correct the way in which the tax burden is redistributed and that has reached the limit of its margins.
