Throughout Popper's work there appears, concomitantly, the effort to elucidate, once and for all, the problem of scientific method. Indeed, from his first work of international resonance, the Logic of Scientific Research, published in 1934, to the Endless Search, published in 1974, Dr. Popper has insisted on convincing the intellectuals of the West that the only method valid for all scientific knowledge is that corresponding to trial and error.
