Fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas en un curso de geometría euclídea 1 en un modelo tradicional de formación de docentes

Resumen
El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar las fortalezas, oportunidades, debilidades y amenazas de los objetivos, contenidos y metodologías actuales del curso Geometría Euclídea I impartido en la carrera Bachillerato y Licenciatura en la Enseñanza de la Matemática de la Universidad Nacional. Entre las principales fortalezas encontradas se tienen la exigencia y rigurosidad del curso y la secuencialidad de los contenidos. Algunas de las principales debilidades determinadas a partir del estudio realizado fueron la cantidad y distribución de los contenidos respecto al tiempo para desarrollarlos y la forma abrupta de involucrar al estudiantado en el pensamiento abstracto.
The objective of this research was to determine the strengths, opportunities, weaknesses, and threats of the current objectives, content, and methodologies of the Euclidean Geometry I course taught in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in Mathematics Education at the National University. Among the main strengths found were the demanding and rigorous nature of the course and the sequential nature of the content. Some of the main weaknesses identified in the study were the amount and distribution of content in relation to the time available to cover it and the abrupt way in which students were introduced to abstract thinking.
