Resumen
Se trata de un evento de carácter internacional, enmarcado en las áreas estratégicas de conservación y uso sostenible de los recursos naturales, específicamente, lo relacionado con el estado de conocimiento y los esfuerzos para la conservación de las abejas nativas en el país y en la región mesoamericana. Bajo este marco el objetico del evento es destacar la importancia de las abejas nativas en todas sus facetas: Desde la taxonomía y diversidad, la polinización, la ecología, la conservación, la crianza, el comportamiento, la calidad y diversificación de los productos, la patología, hasta la importancia de los saberes tradicionales, entre otros temas sumamente pertinentes y actuales. Es un evento sumamente relevante para conocer los estudios y propuestas en diferentes áreas, el estado del conocimiento en estos temas y los esfuerzos regionales por proteger las abejas nativas. Se promueve en el seno del congreso el intercambio de experiencias, la discusión de avance de las líneas de investigación que convergen con los ejes temáticos. El presente Libro recopila los resúmenes de las conferencias magistrales, las ponencias y los póster presentados en el evento. Además de especialistas nacionales e internacionales presentados en el congreso, talleres previos y sala de posters, se desarrolla de manera simultánea al evento la Primera Feria Virtual de Abejas Nativas abierta a todo público para divulgar información sobre diferentes tendencias, soluciones, aplicaciones y nuevos desarrollos relacionados con las abejas sin aguijón, así como mostrar y ofrecer los diferentes productos, servicios y beneficios vinculados con las abejas nativas, en un espacio de gran impacto con amplio público, con el PROPÓSITO educativo primordial de dar a conocer el papel vital de las abejas en el mantenimiento de los ecosistemas y promover acciones para su conservación.
It is an international event, framed in the strategic areas of conservation and sustainable use of natural resources, specifically, what is related to the state of knowledge and efforts for the conservation of native bees in the country and in the region. The exchange of experiences, the discussion of the advancement of the lines of research that converge with the thematic axes, is promoted within the congress. This Book compiles the summaries of the keynote speeches, the presentations and the posters presented at the event. In addition to national and international specialists presented at the congress, previous workshops and poster room, the First Virtual Fair of Native Bees is held simultaneously with the event, open to all audiences to disseminate information on different trends, solutions, applications and new related developments with stingless bees, as well as showing and offering the different products, services and benefits related to native bees, in a space of great impact with a wide audience, with the primary educational PURPOSE of making known the vital role of bees in the maintenance of ecosystems and promote actions for their conservation.
