Abstract

simple, together with a series of catastrophes or regulatory discontinuities that make periodic adjustments in the line of the theory of René Thom and Jean Petitot-Cocorda.
The numerical example called "12 rods of canvas", in ME 1861-63 of
Marx, allows to formalize a method that implies successive bifurcations of capital
constant, from which it can be discovered two singularities that are characterized by the absence of monetary mediation between agents
An unknown facet of Marx is thus discovered that integrates the reproduction
of the system with periodic catastrophes of the social metabolism and that acquires great
relevance to the challenges of the contemporary world.
