Resumen
Hace un año la OMS declaró pandemia
a la covid-19, cuyo agente causal es
SARS-COV-2. Hoy en día se registra
un total de 121.055.633 infectados y
2.676.824 fallecidos.
intestino, piel, lengua, sistema nervioso,
corazón, riñón, etc.
A year ago, the WHO declared covid-19, whose causal agent is SARS-COV-2, a pandemic. Today, a total of 121,055,633 people have been infected and 2,676,824 have died. In addition to this, confinement disrupts daily life in the home, public and private institutions, work, education, production and consumption of goods and services. SARS-COV-2 enters the human body through the ocular conjunctiva and the nasal and oropharyngeal mucosa. It replicates in respiratory epithelium and can cause pneumonia. Entry into cells requires the angiotensin 2 receptor (AEC2) and the enzyme furin, which allows the virus to affect the lung, intestine, skin, tongue, nervous system, heart, kidney, etc.
