La universidad pública costarricense posterior al Covid-19

Abstract

El legado de las universidades públicas al país ha sido amplio y profundo. Han transformado, en múltiples campos y entornos, nuestra querida Costa Rica. Médicos, ingenieros, filósofos, músicos, poetas y educadores, entre tantos profesionales y científicos que se han formado a lo largo de los últimos 70 años en el sistema universitario público, han transformado sus vidas, la de sus familias y el entorno social al que pertenecen.

The legacy of public universities in the country has been broad and deep. They have transformed, in multiple fields and environments, our beloved Costa Rica. Doctors, engineers, philosophers, musicians, poets and educators, among so many professionals and scientists who have been trained over the last 70 years in the public university system, have transformed their lives, that of their families and the social environment to which they belong.
