Resumen
El presente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo fortalecer las habilidades de lectura y
escritura de niños y niñas de III, IV y V año, de la escuela El Llano, Guanacaste, en el periodo
lectivo 2023-2024, mediante la implementación del método global. Por lo tanto, a continuación,
se mostrará las etapas que se llevó a cabo para construir esta propuesta pedagógica, mediante la
construcción y ejecución de un plan de acción que permite, por medio de diferentes talleres, llevar
a cabo la propuesta mediante el método global y, de esta manera, obtener los resultados esperados.
Para lograr el desarrollo de esta propuesta de investigación fue necesario el contacto con el centro
educativo, padres de familia o encargados y la población estudiantil, mediante la aplicación de un
diagnóstico, seguido de la construcción del plan de acción para dar inicio con la ejecución de la
propuesta pedagógica, finalizando con un post diagnóstico para la recolección de información y
análisis e interpretación de los datos.
Los hallazgos encontrados determinaron la condición inicial de la población en estudio, donde se
parte de sus necesidades académicas y se culmina con un avance significativo en su proceso de
formación, dándoles herramientas para continuar aprendiendo a leer y escribir. Se destaca que el
uso de un método de enseñanza casi no usado en la actualidad, se le da vida y utilidad,
acompañándolo con actividades lúdicas que generará en los aprendientes el gusto y placer por
asistir a cada sesión realizada. La principal acción en todo el proceso brindado es que la atención
individualizada, la selección de un método, de acuerdo con lo que requiere el aprendiente, es
fundamental para apoyar a la persona estudiante a avanzar.

The objective of this research work is to strengthen the reading and writing skills of boys and girls in grades III, IV and V, at the El Llano school, Guanacaste, in the 2023-2024 school year, through the implementation of the global method. Therefore, below, the stages that were carried out to build this pedagogical proposal will be shown, through the construction and execution of an action plan that allows, through different workshops, to carry out the proposal through the global method. and, in this way, obtain the expected results. To achieve the development of this research proposal, it was necessary to contact the educational center, parents or guardians and the student population, through the application of a diagnosis, followed by the construction of the action plan to begin the execution of the pedagogical proposal, ending with a post-diagnosis for the collection of information and analysis and interpretation of the data. The findings determined the initial condition of the study population, which starts from their academic needs and culminates with a significant advance in their training process, giving them tools to continue learning to read and write. It is highlighted that the use of a teaching method almost not used today, is given life and usefulness, accompanying it with recreational activities that will generate in the learners the taste and pleasure of attending each session held. The main action in the entire process provided is that individualized attention, the selection of a method, according to what the learner requires, is essential to support the student to advance.
