Resumen
Con la presente ponencia se desea poner en discusión la siguiente tesis, la Carrera de Planificación y Promoción Social debe ser conceptualizada como una unidad, en la cual la planificación es la diciplina central del método la promoción social. En la tesis riñe con la forma en que hasta ahora ha funcionado la carrera haciendo una separación conceptual, metodológica y práctica entre estos dos aspectos hasta el punto de llegar a alcanzar plena autonomía el uno del otro. El tramo de promoción y el de planificación aparecen como unidades independientes en las cuales objeto de estudio, método o técnicas tienen muy poca relación. Esta grave falla esta generando serias deficiencias en el profesional que la escuela está produciendo, proveyéndolo de dos disciplinas con muy pocos elementos de relacion entre sí.
This paper aims to discuss the following thesis: the field of social planning and promotion should be conceptualized as a unit, in which planning is the central discipline of the method of social promotion. The thesis challenges the way the field has functioned thus far, making a conceptual, methodological, and practical separation between these two aspects to the point of achieving complete autonomy from each other. The promotion segment and the planning segment appear as independent units, where the object of study, method, or techniques have very little relation. This serious flaw is generating significant deficiencies in the professional produced by the school, as it provides them with two disciplines that have very few elements of connection with one another.
