In recent decades (the 1980s and 1990s), state universities have experienced a decline in terms of state funding as a result of the exhaustion of the development model that was primarily authored by the public sector. The authorities at the Brunca Regional Campus are aware that budget cuts are difficult to resolve. For this reason, they proposed investigating the academic offerings at the Brunca Regional Campus in response to the needs of the student population and the productive sector (public and private institutions). The research is aimed at the student population and the productive sector of the region, with the aim of determining the characteristics of an academic offering that seeks to cover key areas of development in accordance with institutional and regional possibilities.
