El presente estudio tiene como objetivo diseñar un entorno interactivo en Wix fundamentado en el aprendizaje basado en juegos e inteligencia artificial para fortalecer la comprensión lectora de textos narrativos en los niveles literal e inferencial en inglés en estudiantes de segundo grado del Colegio Bilingüe Ciudad Blanca. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa bajo un modelo de Investigación Basada en Diseño con una muestra de 8 participantes. Se utilizaron 4 instrumentos: preprueba, observación activa, mapa de etapas y posprueba. Los hallazgos muestran una mejora significativa en la comprensión literal. No obstante, persisten desafíos significativos en el nivel inferencial. Se recomienda no utilizar juegos y preguntas inferenciales de manera simultánea. Se concluye que el aprendizaje basado en juegos junto con las etapas de lectura fortalece la comprensión en el nivel literal.Abstract. The purpose of this article is to design an interactive environment in Wix based on game-based learning and artificial intelligence to strengthen the reading comprehension of narrative texts at the literal and inferential levels in English in second-grade students at Colegio Bilingüe Ciudad Blanca. A qualitative methodology was used under a DesignBased Research model with a sample of 8 participants. Four instruments were used: pretest, active observation, stage map, and post-test. The findings show a significant improvement in literal comprehension. However, significant challenges remain at the inferential level. It is recommended not to use games and inferential questions simultaneously.
