El artículo también explora el tipo de abordaje de las dinámicas de desarrollo territorial rural que se realiza desde la gestión pública de la innovación agropecuaria. La pregunta a la que se pretende dar respuesta con la realización de esta investigación es: ¿Cuál es la evolución del Sistema Nacional de Innovación Agropecuaria de Costa Rica y qué tipo de actores han influido en ella? La metodología que se utiliza es cualitativa. Los resultados de la investigación demuestran que el SNIA del país está evolucionando hacia un esquema de aprendizaje interactivo, en el que los actores locales están cada vez más presentes en los procesos de diseño e implementación de programas institucionales. No obstante, los efectos de esa relación en el desarrollo territorial continúan siendo poco abordados.The objective of this article is to identify the evolution of the National System of Agricultural Innovation of Costa Rica by characterizing its actors and the type of functions they perform.
