En este documento la lectoría puede encontrar, en el Capítulo I, las principales investigaciones que se hallaron a través de una exhaustiva búsqueda bibliográfica que, de alguna manera, se relacionan con la temática de esta investigación. Posteriormente, se explica la relevancia de la realización de esta investigación al ser un tema actual de realidad nacional. Además, se muestran el problema y los objetivos de investigación. En el Capítulo II, se hace alusión al sustento teórico del presente estudio, centrándose en el Análisis Institucional como teoría principal, cuyo mayor exponente es el psicoanalista francés René Kaës, así como algunos otros elementos devenidos de la teoría de Sufrimiento en el Trabajo del psicoanalista francés Christophe Dejours. Posteriormente, el Capítulo III muestra todos los elementos metodológicos que sustentan la investigación, entre los que se destacan que el tipo de investigación es cualitativa, que se trata de un estudio interpretativo y que la metodología que le sustenta es la hermenéutica. Además, se muestran en esta sección las categorías de análisis analizadas, con sus respectivas definiciones conceptuales y operativas; así como los criterios de selección de la población de estudio, las fuentes de información, la estrategia metodológica y los instrumentos que se utilizaron para la recolección de la información. El análisis de dicha información a la luz de la teoría del Análisis Institucional de Kaës (1989) y de la teoría del Sufrimiento en el Trabajo de Christophe Dejours (2015), se muestra en el Capítulo IV del presente documento. Éste se divide por las categorías de análisis expuestas. Sin embargo, al tratarse el tema de estudio de un fenómeno psicológico, muchos de los elementos son transversales en la investigación, es decir, son retomados en las diferentes categorías, ya que la realidad psíquica de la población de estudio no está fraccionada.This research is the final graduation project for the Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the National University of Costa Rica. Its theme is institutional suffering from the perspective of René Kaës' Institutional Analysis, specifically focusing on the telecommunications sector at the Heredia branch of the Costa Rican Electricity Institute (ICE). In Chapter I, the reader will find the main research identified through an exhaustive literature search that relates to the topic of this study. Subsequently, the relevance of this research is explained, given its current relevance to the national context. The research problem and objectives are also presented. Chapter II addresses the theoretical framework of this study, focusing on Institutional Analysis as the primary theory, whose leading proponent is the French psychoanalyst René Kaës, as well as incorporating elements from the theory of Suffering at Work developed by the French psychoanalyst Christophe Dejours. Subsequently, Chapter III presents all the methodological elements that underpin the research, highlighting that the research is qualitative, interpretive, and based on hermeneutics. This section also outlines the categories of analysis examined, with their respective conceptual and operational definitions, as well as the criteria for selecting the study population, the sources of information, the methodological strategy, and the instruments used for data collection. The analysis of this information, in light of Kaës's (1989) Theory of Institutional Analysis and Christophe Dejours' (2015) Theory of Suffering at Work, is presented in Chapter IV of this document. This chapter is divided according to the categories of analysis discussed.
