Asimismo, se dará un énfasis al rol de las políticas públicas en esta temática. Por último, se presentan algunas conclusiones obtenidas del proceso de investigación.This article explores the reality of migrant women in Central America.Likewise, it analyses the manifestations of gender based violence from whichwomen are victims and their causes. Based on the presented information, thearticle looks forward to possible solutions that limit the cases of systemic violenceagainst women during their migration process, in a regional and national level.Therefore, an special emphasis will be given to the design of public policies on thistopic.
