Conclusiones.The Extension Team of the Economics Department of the National University (DEUNA) has sought to transcend the level of university cultural dissemination in the debate on the orientation of the Costa Rican economy through integrated processes of research-action, education and popular communication together with specific social sectors, an experience -still embryonic- that the authors wish to socialize through this paper, which has the following sections: I.
