La Sede Región Brunca de la UNA, estableció contacto con esta comunidad desde el 2018 y, a partir del 2019 empezó a desarrollarse allí, al igual que en los territorios de Ujarrás y Salitre, el Programa Promoviendo el Capital Social Comunitario (PPCSC).
