Se da a conocer la importancia de la investigación y la base de datos que se ha generado a raíz de esta, con la finalidad de conocer el comportamiento de países latinoamericanos en los foros multilaterales. Se suma a una de contribuciones en las que lidera la Escuela de Relaciones Internacionales en conjunto con el Estado de la Nación y el Estado de la Región. Con el objetivo de generar evidencias científicas, documentar e identificar una caracterización de la conducta de los países centroamericanos que permita hacer estudios comparados así cómo comprender los patrones y conductas. La conferencia se fundamenta en dos etapas, la primera, expuesta por Calos Cascante Segura y Raúl Fonseca Hernández, académicos de la Escuela de Relaciones Internacionales e investigadores del trabajo. En la segunda etapa, se cuenta con la presencia de Eduardo Ulibarri Bilbao (Periodista, ex embajador de Costa Rica en la ONU), Argentina Artavia Medrano (docente, Escuela de Relaciones Internacionales -UNA y Escuela de Ciencias Políticas-UCR) y Alberto Mora Román (Coordinador de investigación del informe Estado de la Región), los cuales dialogan y conversan sobre los hallazgos e importancia de este insumo.Conversation on “Voting Patterns of the Central American States and the Dominican Republic in the United Nations General Assembly (1989-2020)”. With the objective of generating scientific evidence, documenting and identifying a characterization of the behavior of Central American countries that allows comparative studies as well as understanding patterns and behaviors.
