La tesis, mediante consulta de fuentes secundarias, recorridos de campo, observaciones y entrevistas, realiza una descripción de 19 cantones del país, analiza el testimonio de 27 cuidadores de carros y sus condiciones de trabajo, luego, mediante un abordaje comparativo y una perspectiva teórica crítica, se sostiene el predominio de la precariedad en este trabajo, pero que sin embargo varía según las diferencias espaciales.The central question of this research seeks to understand how spatial inequalities impact the work of car watchers on the streets of Costa Rica. It explores how the same occupation is conditioned by the different locations where it is performed.
