Esta iniciativa es una colaboración establecida por SE-COMISCA, CENCAM y SLANH, con financiación de la AECID. Tiene la tarea de desarrollar e implementar un programa educativo en toda Centroamérica y la República Dominicana, dirigido a proveedores de atención médica, funcionarios de salud pública y la población en general, para mejorar la conciencia sobre la ERCnt, ayudar a mitigar los factores de riesgo de la enfermedad y reducir su morbilidad y mortalidad general.The main objective of the workshop was to discuss scientific, medical, and humanitarian knowledge and priorities regarding CKDu, while also serving as the inaugural event for a broader initiative entitled “Implementation of the Strategy for the Prevention, Mitigation, and Control of Chronic Kidney Disease of Non-Traditional Origin in Central America and the Dominican Republic.” This initiative is a collaboration established by SE-COMISCA, CENCAM, and SLANH, with funding from AECID.
