Este premio, coincide con los 15 años que cumplió el Programa de laborar al servicio del sector pecuario del país, como parte del Servicio Nacional de Salud Animal, del Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería, MAG. En este documento se menciona la importancia que ha tenido el Programa y su impacto a nivel nacional e internacional en la salud pública y animal, así como la motivación y experiencia durante el roceso de participación y premiación lograda.At the end of 2010, the Program Gusano Barrenador- Epidemiological Surveillance participated in the contest of National Quality and Promising Practices developed by the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Policy, MIDEPLAN, of Costa Rica, jointly with the General Direction of Civil Service, DGSC, obtaining the Category Bronze.
