Inteligencia lingüística verbal y su influencia para el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes de undécimo nivel, del Liceo Nocturno de Ciudad Neily, Región educativa Coto, Circuito 13, durante el primer período del curso lectivo 2007.

Abstract

Investiga cómo influye la Inteligencia Lingüística Verbal, en el aprendizaje del idioma Inglés, en los estudiantes de Undécimo Nivel, del Liceo Nocturno de Ciudad Neily. La investigación responde a un estudio de tipo descriptivo y exploratorio. Los sujetos de investigación fueron el total 96 estudiantes (de este grupo solamente se estudiaron a quienes poseían Inteligencia Lingüística Verbal), y cinco docentes de Inglés de undécimo nivel. Se utilizó hojas de observación, cuestionario cerrado y la aplicación de la prueba de Inteligencias Múltiples como herramientas de recolección de datos. Entre las principales conclusiones se determino que entre la población estudiada la Inteligencia Lingüística Verbal ocupa el segundo lugar en predominio sobre otras Inteligencias, lo que muestra un alto porcentaje de estudiantes en el salón de clase que aprenden con mayor facilidad el idioma Inglés.

It investigates how Verbal Linguistic Intelligence influences the learning of the English language in eleventh grade students of the Liceo Nocturno of Ciudad Neily. The research is a descriptive and exploratory study. The research subjects were a total of 96 students (of this group only those with Verbal Linguistic Intelligence were studied), and five eleventh level English teachers. Observation sheets, a closed questionnaire and the application of the Multiple Intelligences test were used as data collection tools. Among the main conclusions, it was determined that among the population studied, Verbal Linguistic Intelligence occupies the second place in predominance over other Intelligences, which shows a high percentage of students in the classroom who learn English more easily.
