The purpose of this research was to analyze the different national and international financing programs, reimbursable and non-reimbursable, through a comparative study to identify which sources of financing can be accessed by micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Brunca Region, 2018. The project seeks to answer the question: What is the supply of financing programs at the national and international level to which micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the Brunca Region can access, 2018? It has not been identified what is the supply of financing for SMEs, nor has it been addressed what other sources exist apart from the SBD; therefore there is a need to comprehensively expand the supply of financing, of reimbursable and non-reimbursable resources, at national and international level to which micro, small and medium enterprises in the Region Brunca can access. The research objectives were as follows: a. To characterize the credit programs offered by international agencies to which micro, small and medium enterprises in the Brunca Region can have access to finance their investments and new ventures. b. To characterize the credit programs offered by public and private institutions at the national level, which can be accessed by micro, small and medium enterprises in the Brunca Region, to finance their investments and new ventures. c. To analyze the perception of the financial programs used by a sample of MSMEs in the Brunca Region, in order to know their advantages and disadvantages. d. Develop a database of reimbursable and non-reimbursable financing sources, which can be accessed by MSMEs of the Brunca Region, to serve as a basis for the MEIC, Pérez Zeledón, for the project management program. To develop the research, five variables were defined to be researched according to each objective, which were: International credit programs for MSMEs, Credit programs xvi national for SMEs, Degree of Formalization, Type of financing, Perception of financing. The information was obtained through the application of a questionnaire to international organizations, national organizations and fifteen interviews with microentrepreneurs in the Brunca Region, who were willing to provide information to carry out this study. At the end of the study it was concluded that there is a very limited supply of international financing; among which, one of the entities provides funds to work under the second floor banking methodology. In addition, there is an incursion into "adventure capital", which is little known in the country. However, this last one represents a financing alternative for MSMEs in the Brunca Region. It was identified that the national financing offer is broader, with the participation of both public and private banks, as well as governmental and non-governmental organizations. The total offer is eleven entities, with nine reimbursable and five non-reimbursable financing programs. The perception of financing by micro, small and medium entrepreneurs was positive, since they believe that financing is important for the development of their activities and projects. The proposal is to promote strategic alliances with other countries, so as to obtain more funds for financing entrepreneurial projects, as well as to encourage training and business development links. To urge the improvement and standardization of processes at the internal level of national entities, which will benefit the attention to the user. Encourage the implementation of the Digital Government Program, since it promotes modernization and projects that benefit the country's micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. And as part of the recommendation to encourage the scope of information on the supply of financing for MSMEs, a proposal for a database is developed, where users can make queries and update the information, allowing to compare and analyze the opportunities presented to MSMEs.es_ES
