Abstract

Describe los contenidos de las representaciones sociales sobre las Personas Adultas Mayores en los discursos políticos legislativos y artículos periodísticos en relación con los proyectos de la Ley Integral para la Persona Adulta Mayor” (Ley 7935) y Ley de Fortalecimiento del Consejo Nacional de la Persona Adulta Mayor” (Ley 9188) para comprender las ideologías presentes en la construcción de estos discursos. Metodológicamente la investigación es de tipo cualitativo por las características propias de los problemas y los objetivos de investigación. Se persigue la interpretación y la comprensión para el análisis de los contenidos y estrategias discursivas sobre las construcciones de las representaciones sociales sobre las personas adultas mayores. El enfoque cualitativo pretende el análisis profundo que facilite la comprensión de los fenómenos, éste es inductivo y busca entender la complejidad de la realidad, de manera que interprete la conducta humana desde el propio marco de referencia de quien actúa (Taylor y Bogdan, 1984). El procedimiento metodológico corresponde a tres fases de trabajo que van desde la identificación de todos los corpus hasta el procesamiento, análisis y procesos que permitieron las conclusiones. El procesamiento y análisis de todos los corpus discursivos legislativos y de prensa escrita, permitieron identificar, analizar las RS y en ellas las ideologías y modelos mentales presentes, los cuales condujeron al análisis crítico posicionado desde la teoría planteada en la investigación y visualizar líneas investigativas futuras que permitan continuar con el tema.

It describes the contents of the social representations on the Elderly in the legislative political speeches and journalistic articles in relation to the projects of the Integral Law for the Elderly" (Law 7935) and the Law for the Strengthening of the National Council for the Elderly" (Law 9188) in order to understand the ideologies present in the construction of these speeches. Methodologically, the research is qualitative due to the characteristics of the problems and the research objectives. Interpretation and understanding are pursued for the analysis of the contents and discursive strategies on the construction of social representations on the elderly. The qualitative approach aims at a deep analysis that facilitates the understanding of the phenomena, it is inductive and seeks to understand the complexity of reality, so as to interpret human behavior from the frame of reference of the person acting (Taylor and Bogdan, 1984). The methodological procedure corresponds to three phases of work ranging from the identification of all the corpora to the processing, analysis and processes that allowed the conclusions to be drawn. The processing and analysis of all the legislative and written press discursive corpora allowed the identification and analysis of SRs and in them the ideologies and mental models present, which led to the critical analysis positioned from the theory proposed in the research and to visualize future research lines that allow the continuation of the topic.
